When the “MATCHING MENTORS AND MENTEES” process is completed, each partner organisation, mentor and mentee are in constant communication for 2-3 months for the completion of their four (4) training sessions and “closing” procedures (i.e., completion of relevant evaluation documents and provision of feedback, etc.). After the Matching process and during the mentoring sessions, all involved bodies (responsible organisation in the project county, mentors, mentees) have specific tasks and responsibilities while participating in the mentoring program:

Responsible organisation:

  • Arrange at least one (1) meeting (either physically or online) before the mentoring program begins to discuss clarifications, responsibilities, tasks and rights
  • Arrange at least one (1) meeting (either physically or online) during the implementation of the mentoring program to discuss the mentoring process/progress, upcoming challenges (if any) and possible solutions
  • Keep regular communication (via email, phone, etc.) with mentors and mentees to track the progress of the mentoring sessions
  • Provide assistance and guidance to mentors and mentees when necessary
  • Be in conduct with the rest of the project consortium to discuss the mentoring program in each project country and provide updates when necessary
  • Arrange at least one (1) meeting (either physically or online) after the end of the mentoring program to collect feedback and all the relevant forms and evaluation documents from both, the mentors and the mentees

Mentors:

  • Meet at least once (either physically or online) with the responsible organisation in the respective project country before the mentoring program begins to discuss clarifications
  • Engage in at least four (4) mentoring sessions, in a duration of 2-3 months
  • Meet at least once (either physically or online) with the responsible organisation in the respective project country during the implementation of the mentoring program to discuss the mentoring process/progress, upcoming challenges (if any) and possible solutions
  • Keep regular communication (via email, phone, etc.) with the responsible organisation to provide relevant updates and information in regards to the mentoring process and the mentor-mentees relationship
  • Report any unforeseen circumstances to the responsible organisation or issues that may occur
  • Complete all required documents/templates provided by the responsible organisation, before, during, and after the conduction of the mentoring program

Mentees:

  • Engage in at least four (4) mentoring sessions, in a duration of 2-3 months
  • Report any unforeseen circumstances to the responsible organisation or issues that may occur
  • Complete all required documents/templates provided by the responsible organisation, before, during, and after the conduction of the mentoring program
