Module 4

1. Introduction

The training material developed for the WIN on-line project will support women who want to become e-entrepreneurs to gain comprehensive knowledge on the entrepreneurship field, in order to become equipped with the necessary skills and competencies to run their business online and become independent entrepreneurs. The training material will guide them on how to gain a competitive advantage in the labour market and promote their innovative business ideas.

For many individuals that have succeeded in their career, the causes have largely been contributed to the strong networking channels they have created over time.

Experts agree that the most connected people are often the most successful. When you invest in your relationships — professional and personal — it can pay you back in dividends throughout the course of your career. Networking will help you develop and improve your skill set, stay on top of the latest trends in your industry, keep a pulse on the job market, meet prospective mentors, partners, and clients, and gain access to the necessary resources that will foster your career development.

2. Learning outcomes

By the end of Module 4, participants to the online training will be able to:

  • Know what business networking and understand its importance
  • Know the main benefits of business networking;
  • Get some key skills for business networking;
  • Understand how to network online;
  • Know some basic international networks;
  • Know the basic network existing in their local area.
  • Know some experiences about it;

3. Duration

The approximate time to go through the Module 4 is

5 hours

4. Requirements

In order to have better results, it would be for the participants’ benefit to fulfil the following requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of IT skills;
  • Basic knowledge of new technology tools

Those requirements are not obligatory.

For learning purposes, the training material consists of different theoretical material, presentations, videos and infographics.

Assessment activities will be available after the end of each training module, evaluating the information and knowledge the learners gained from the developed material.
