The “e-Volve Project” is implemented by the Cyprus Productivity Centre within the framework of the European Social Fund since March of 2010.
SMEs receive training and consultancy services on e-Business issues.
Why it has been selected as good practice
1. For the period 2010 – 2013 approximately 2500 SMEs will receive training and consultancy services on e-Business issues.
2. During the implementation of the project, an e-Business awareness campaign run in order to promote e Business practices in the business world and the general public. The campaign included, among other initiatives, the production of educational films, through which the available e-Government services, e-Banking, e-Learning and other e Business good practices were presented and promoted.
The project encouraged SMEs to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the e-commerce.
