Presentation\/Description of the method<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n \r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe European Gateway for Women\u2019s entrepreneurship WEgate is an e-platform launched by the European Commission to support this network. Among the good practices of WEgate was Danish Network, Mors Business Network, which helps women entrepreneurs balance family and business. With more than 500 members, Mors Business Network caters the unique needs of women entrepreneurs, who also happen to be mothers. According to Mors Business Network founder, whether an entrepreneur is male or female, what he or she really needs to be successful is a strong support system. The Network hosts small intimate meet-ups, which are dedicated to a specific subject or interest that allows members to get answers or feedback on their sales, marketing, management or any other business needs.\r\n\r\n \r\n

General objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nThe general objectives of Mors Business Network are:\r\n

  • To support women who want to start their own business or who are already self-employed professionals<\/li>\r\n \t
  • To cater the unique needs of women entrepreneurs<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n \r\n

    Target group-participants<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nTarget group of this project are women entrepreneurs. The primary focus is on mothers, but it also welcomes entrepreneurs with or without families.\r\n\r\n \r\n

    Why it has been selected as good practice<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nMors Business Network has been selected as a good practice, because it gives first-hand advices on women how to balance family and work. It is a strong support system, exactly what the entrepreneurs need.\r\n\r\n \r\n

    Final comment<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nThe Network\u2019s workshops and events for female entrepreneurs in Denmark have received the attention and sponsorship of larger organisations and businesses, including the Danish-UK Association, School for Mothers and Bo Concept.\r\n\r\nThe founder of Mors Business Network has also published a book, to share her experience with other mum entrepreneurs, which is available in Denmark, the UK and the US.\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
